[JOB] Interaction Designer, Anywhere, Manning Publications, Contract
I am looking for a really clever man or woman to help turn an abstract
vision into something concrete. The vision is of a next generation
ebook.
In the beginning, the ebook will be a web page that does several
things: it will 1. put the entire book on a single page, 2. let
readers add and see each others' comments (text and video) to the
book, 3. provide a social interaction medium for discussions between
readers. Later, the ebook will evolve into who knows what--we expect
the readers to lead the way by telling us what they like and don't like.
We have implemented a first version of this without the help of a
designer, and now know with certainty that we need one. The contractor
would work with me and a developer.
If you find this interesting please write to me at maba at manning dot

I know it doesn't *quite* fit what you're asking about, but you might
want to take a look at CommentPress -
