I heard it was some sort of exerrcise, funny no-one alerted NYC'ers that
there would be low flying Jets zipping around lower Manhattan on a Sunny
Work Week Morning... ;)

That's really insensitive. It was only 7.5 yrs ago. Think of all of
NYCers, millions of them, having a little bit of PTSD.
It scared me too, just watching the footage on the news.
