Department Description
The development group in the Primavera Global Business Unit is
focused on developing enterprise level solutions for our customers in
project intensive industries. Our applications provide project and
portfolio management, contract management, resource management, and
risk management solutions used by customers worldwide. We leverage
an agile development methodology (scrum) to facilitate the
development of our products. Our development practices include
empowered scrum teams, continuous build and integration, monthly
sprint reviews, and a heavy emphasis on testing early and often.

Brief Posting Description
Responsible for creating, evaluating and modifying prototypes to
support evolving hardware and software application development.

Detailed Description
As a member of the User Experience team, you will develop and apply
software design/usability processes in the investigation of technical
problems. May develop user profiles, with emphasis on human error
control, display issues, visual interaction, physical manipulation
and task and objective analyses. Provide product usability,
evaluation and support to product development teams, including the
analysis and investigation of applications/systems including tactile
methods, visual graphics, web, multimedia, voice response and
conversational user interaction. May assist in developing design
concept and implementation, providing input on user design
considerations. May produce specifications describing user needs and
internal structures for product in development.

Job Requirements
Duties and tasks are varied and complex utilizing independent
judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project
lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or
equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically four
years of software engineering or related experience needed.Additional
Details
As a member of the Oracle Primavera BI team you will develop and
apply business intelligence and data warehousing design/usability in
the development of pre-packaged BI application solutions. Activities
range from development strategy to problem identification, customer
interaction gathering requirements, defining specifications for
product development and warehouse design, designing and creating
appropriate reporting. Will participate in the modeling of physical
and logical data warehouse as well as the OBIEE metadata
presentation, business model and physical layers. May include some
development including testing, data extraction, transformation and
loading.
You will become a core member of our dynamic, world-class development
organization. As part of a Scrum team you will be actively working
with development and stakeholders to develop the next releases of
enterprise products. In this environment you will be called upon to
analyze and document requirements and use cases, suggest and assess
multiple alternative solutions, and work closely with our design team
to ensure functionality meets a high usability standard
Responsibilities and Skills include:
Analyze data requirements and map to metadata and data warehouse
Develop use case scenarios
Create high-level and detailed design specifications
Analyze design requirements for UI interactions and reports
Work closely with marketing and customers to understand the Data, UI,
and Interaction Design requirements
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
At least two years of experience with design, development or
implementation of business intelligence applications or related
experience
Experience with OBIEE desirable
