[JOB] Senior User Experience Strategist; Full Time; San Diego, CA or Denver, CO

Red Door Interactive (www.reddoor.biz) is seeking a Senior User
Experience Strategist to join our Business Planning & Optimization
team. We apply research and in-depth knowledge of consumers' digital
lifestyles to help companies succeed online. Red Door is an
award-winning, growing digital agency with offices in San Diego, CA
and Denver, CO.

Job functions will include but are not limited to:

• Contributes as client facing lead on user experience strategy

• Evaluates the online experience of clients' direct and indirect
competitors

• Researches and identifies target audience segments through
interviews and contextual observation

• Aligns business goals with consumer needs and expectations through
prioritization of user tasks, interface design features and
functional requirements

• Models user interaction through use cases and process flows

• Structures content and functionality through site maps and
schematic drawings

• Designs and annotates user interface storyboards and wireframes

• Creates usability test plans, moderates testing sessions and writes
recommendations reports based on findings

• Identifies optimization opportunities through research and
analytics data

• Applies insight across client accounts

• Provides other related duties as assigned

• Up to 15% domestic travel time required

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in design (candidates with a degree or
coursework in human computer interaction, cognitive science, library
science, information science or architecture will also be
considered)

• 3-5 years experience working in a related role at a digital agency
or Internet consultancy (candidates with client side experience in
ecommerce will also be considered)

• Expertise in user centered design and usability best practices

• Strong attention to detail, clarity and persuasiveness in verbal
and written communications

• Passion for design innovation through emerging channels and
technologies

• A portfolio of work demonstrating competency in essential
functions, including online retail environments
