How to design the properties of a floating results panel?

Hi,

We're desiging a floating results panel which show different sets of
records based on filters and/or search parameters.

The filtering and search is already a standard part of the UI grid
component (like JIDE or other data grids).

But we would also like to add the options to:
a) refresh the data periodically (like a monitoring panel)
b) show results in a map

Both options will be optional and the user must be able to
enable/disable them per results panel. (because we can have more
panels)

Any suggestions on how to design this properly ?
