How do you make sure your design gets implementedright?

Martin -

My slightly controversial view is that this cannot be prevented. That is
why it is important that implementers understand about the need for
user-centred design. They don't have to be experts, but they do need to
know when to ask questions and to understand that subtle alterations in
implementation can have big impacts on user experience.
