Hi!
For those of you who want to follow each other on Twitter I've created
tweepml list based on contacts from some ux group on linkedin.com. In fact
there are two lists 'cause the system is not perfect.
Enjoy and follow :)
http://tweepml.org/UX-ers-on-Twitter/<http://www.linkedin.com/redirect?url=http%3A%2F%2Ftweepml%2Eorg%2FUX-ers-on-Twitter%2F&urlhash=wj_7&_t=disc_detail_link>
http://tweepml.org/UX-ers-on-Twitter-2/<http://www.linkedin.com/redirect?url=http%3A%2F%2Ftweepml%2Eorg%2FUX-ers-on-Twitter-2%2F&urlhash=7GF6&_t=disc_detail_link>
And if you want to be on the list just write to me :)
cheers,
Ewa

An admirable list like this has already been created by Elizabeth Buie:

Thanks, Jonathan. The shorter link is here: http://bit.ly/UXTweeps
And of course I'll add Ewa and Carrie. I was about to post an update anyhow, so these additions are timely!
Meanwhile, I'll peruse Ewa's list to see if there are any I've missed. I figure there probably are!

Out of curiosity, how did you compile the list? I didn't see a single
person on that list who would probably be considered the most
prominent faces/names in the UX community.

In theory, theory and practice are the same.
In practice, they are not.

Personally, I wouldn't want to be on any list that would have me as a
member.
Jared
Thanks for the list. I don't know if you are God or a common man in
the UX list. But I know you are a human UXer like me :) I personally
am happy to get connected with UXers who have similar interests as
me.

Is that your way of saying you're going to work at Yahoo! Inc?

I wouldn't want to work at any company that would hire me, either.
(Let me know when you tire of this joke. It never gets old for me.)
Jared
It's mildly amusing the first time.
Any time thereafter it just makes you seem aggrandizing and self
important.

Yep.
Was really into the Marx Bros and Harold Lloyd in high school. Don't
ask.
And don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of Jared.
But still, that's the feeling I get with the joke; like modesty trying
too hard.
