Any photo-sharing apps out there forarchitects-designers?

Ziya, I totally intend to take bold steps with this one; but it's good to
know what's out there so that when one is presenting to a group of critics &
one is told that the feature one was oh -so- proud of has been done better
by so-and-so :). One does not want surprises like that, does one?

Thea, do you mean you needed an app that would enable you to share image &
other media files with your group? I agree about having the site usable by
folks using slower connections.

Thanks Donna, the link you suggest seems very apt. Will be sure to go
through that.

You said "early in the process".

When I mentored young designers I'd notice how they'd often gravitate
towards known 'solutions' and would find it difficult to distill their minds
from existing approaches.

The kind of validation you mention belongs not at "early in the process" but
much later. Sometimes you need to re-invent the wheel, just to learn how it
feels to invent it.
