Use it for some time, I'm wondering how many people will keep using it
for more than a month.

Noone I know uses Google Wave. The interface is all wrong.
They need an AIR app to make it viable, because noone is going to keep
that much screen real estate open all day in the background.

Wave is two things:
1) a specific product UI. Google's current one is just the first
public draft that is broken in many ways.
2) a protocol, an approach and a method. In that sense, incredibly
powerful and forward-looking. Maybe too much so, but maybe it will
become something useful. I have myself many useful waves already
ongoing.
I made a comparison of how it stacks up against Skype Chat; see

I agree, a lot of things don't really work well. I see the potential, but I
think Scoble is right, when he says google should move away from the email
metaphor. The interface doesn't support organization of the waves very well.
I wrote a piece on the problems I see, but it's in German.

Problems are:
- Content and communication about the content are not well
differentiated.
- It's hard to really understand what's happening in a wave, because
conversation is often going on all over the place.
- It wants to give you a universal inbox, but gives no help to organize
it.
bye
Nooo...?
I don't code AIR apps. I don't code anything.
I do user research.
