Hi all,
I am currently doing some research on trends in the user experience
design of e-commerce (shopping) sites.
- Which trends are you observing?
- Which concepts work/do not work based on your experience or user
research results?
(i.e., dragging and dropping products into shopping carts, facetted
search, etc.)
I am looking for trends in both fields:
- User research
- User experience design
Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi Vera,
Here are some suggestions.
A recent book on shopping is Shoptimism by Lee Eisenberg.
In general trends are social shopping and mobile.
I also recommend a site www.shop.org but you need to be a member to
get the really good stuff. Great webinars.
And look at your pew internet life survey's. Good insights there too
with specific reports on online shopping. Look in their "shopping"
topic. http://www.pewinternet.org/topics/Shopping.aspx
