Hi all
I've been searching for a service design education (grad) and I'm
kind of confused. There isn't any dedicated programmes for service
design, However some design schools started to teach this new field
as a part of their design programme, such as: http://www.ciid.dk/::
http://www.aho.no/en/ :: http://www.kisd.de/home.html?lang=en ::
http://www.english.polimi.it/ and...
there is a list on service design network :
http://www.service-design-network.org/content/study-service-design
but it is a mix of business and design schools and there is no any
details about them. Money is a main concern, and I'm looking for
european schools.
What should I do?
Thanks and sorry for my poor English(I'm working on it!).

Hi Omid, you will find in Domus Academy (Milano) the Business Design
Master, it is the same. You can also find it as Strategic Design.
Service Design is included in those masters.

Gabriela

Well it isn't Europe, but Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) has
an MFA in Service & Product Design. The program is surrounded by
programs in Design Management, Industrial Design, Design for
Sustainability and offers classes in Interaction Design.

Sorry, it is not in Europe ... but it answers your question
otherwise.
Professors of all the programs mentioned above will be available for
prospective students to speak with at Interaction 10 | Savannah.

Thanks Mr.Malouf
I know about savannah, and there is such a great place to study, but
I really can't afford to pay $ 30,000 for an academic year !
Thanks for your reply.

Hi Omid,
Laurea University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki has a new program
calledService Innovation and Design<http://servicedesign.laurea.fi/>
<http://servicedesign.laurea.fi/>I was there for a term this year, as
exchange. It's a mix between Business, Marketing and Design, including the
Service Design part.
When I was there, the schedule was 3 full days per month, so that it could
be done along a full-time job. (There are good sides and bad sides to this
approach). I don't know if they're gonna keep that format or not next year.
Oh, it's free, by the way :) But you do have to support your stay in
Finland...
