What books would you recommend for interaction design, interface design, etc...specifically for someone designing web applications? I have been designing apps for awhile now, and have read all the normal prerequisites for usability and design. I am looking for intermediate to advanced books.

Thank you in advance.
Rob

To my mind, this is an area where we're really lacking. We've got a
bunch of fundamentals books, but few books for the established
practitioner. When I put together my interaction class, it's a struggle
to find good reads on advanced topics.

One book I've recently found a wealth of things in is an oldie, but a
goodie: The Art of Human-Computer Interaction, edited by Brenda Laurel.
Some of the examples are dated (the book is from 1990) but some of the
pieces (it's a collection of essays) are still out ahead of us.
