Sorry this is totally off-topic, but I thought this community might
have a good recommendation for a digital photography book, and AskMeFi
costs $5. I have specific requirements:
It's for my dad. He's an expert, professional level photographer. He's
been taking pictures for a half century (though he doesn't like to
think about it in those terms) and taught classes at Parson's many
On the other hand, he's a computer newbie. Just started using email last year.
He's making the transition to digital, so I'm looking for a book that
will help him with that transition -- one that assumes you have a deep
knowledge of photography but little knowledge about computers.
