It's about four years spent in an island by a "persona" played by him.
Before this he was Mister Clock, sort of a "timecoholic" (never mind
...), a foreman working for FedEx.
Te name of the film in English is "Cast Out", "Naufrago" in Spanish.

Anyway, you raised a point: "who is the user for such a clock"?
London has it's BigBen (there is a smaller replica in my city). Who's
the BigBen user, and what for? It may be all the citi-zens, and the
usage is to know it's there and that everybody else around the world
also knows it's there: a symbol.
Also, to make a point about industrial reliability and commitment.
And maybe some thousand people also use it to find out what time is it.
