I am interested in taking a seminar on Management and was wondering if any body has taken such a seminar and could recommend something.
I've seen the DMI seminars...are they any good?
It doesn't have to be specific to UX, but that would be good.

I recently took the following course:
Critical Skills for Managers: Beyond the Basics course at Cornell
(http://www.ilr.cornell.edu/mgmtprog/training/catalog/MD301.html)
It is at the Cornell Institute for Labor Relations.
The instructor was excellent and the 2 days were quite worthwhile IMHO.
I highly recommend the course and would probably want to take another course
from this organization if I found a topic that interested me.
It is NOT design related at all, and honestly, I think that was a plus.
Listening to the other managers speak to issues really made me realize that
there is more in common in managing than there are differences. I recommend
that anyone managing people, projects, or just even wanting to manage up the
food chain (somehting everyone should be doing) take a course like this one.
My favorite topics of the course were:
Managing change
Managing performance
Negotiating
