Can anybody recommend usability testing training that they have found useful? I am looking for something that can be done in a short time basis, as opposed to a class over several week.
Also, if there's something in NC that somebody can recommend that is over time, that'd work too.

_____
IE 794B/PSY 710U: ENGINEERING PSYCHOLOGY OF
HUMAN-COMPUTER INTERACTION
Course Description:
In this course, we will explore how to make computer
technology usable by people. The goal of the course is
to familiarize you with the theory and practice of
user-centered design of human-computer interaction and
interfaces. The course will focus on the psychology of
the user, computer technology, and the definition and
evaluation of usability. Human-computer interaction
theory will be introduced through lectures and
readings on contemporary research. You will apply this
knowledge through mini-exercises on conceptual
interface design for complex, real-world systems. The
general approach to this work will involve usability
analysis and critique of existing interfaces,
conceptualization of redesigns, and documentation of
the process. This method to learning will be
complemented by visits to local industries using
advanced human-machine interfaces for complex systems
control.
Course Objective:
At the completion of this course, you should be able
to effectively structure and analyze research issues
in HCI, as well as conceptually design usable
interfaces for different types of systems.
The Greatest Commandment
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your
strength. And Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these." (Mark12:31-32)
=========
(ECC 12:13) "The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person. For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or bad."
