NYC Usability Professionals' Association presents:
"Emotion in Design": Testing Emotional Effectiveness of Designs

Studying usability, success and task time, can tell you which designs are
easy to use and why. But accurately learning about what people like and care
about is quite different, and unfortunately, difficult to do. Kara Pernice
Coyne, Director of Research at Nielsen Norman Group, will talk about the
evolving method the company has been working on for years. She will give
examples of designs that conjure emotion in people, and the effect that has
on usability.
