NYC Usability Professionals Association presents:

Blog Usability and Integration: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Speakers: B.L. Ochman, Blog Consultant & Sher Taton, IBM
Moderator: Joan Renner, IBM

Blogs are quickly earning their place as an extraordinary communications
tool. On November 15, NYCUPA will welcome two experienced and prolific
bloggers for a panel discussion about the core issues of blog usability,
design and integration. This will be a departure from our usual format in
that our two bloggers will welcome questions throughout the program. We will
also have a moderator who will orchestrate the proceedings.

B.L. Ochman, blog consultant to Cendant and IBM, among others, will
demonstrate examples of good and bad blog design; blogs that are easy to use
and blogs that are confusing. BL publishes the popular What's Next Blog
http://www.whatsnextblog.com and is the author of What Could Your Company Do
With a Blog http://www.whatsnextonline.com/blogbook/ and Press Releases From
Hell and How to Fix Them. http://www.whatsnextonline.com/ma72/

Sher Taton, as a corporate insider, will explain and illustrate how IBM is
integrating blogs into its online presence. Sher works in Corporate
Interactive Marketing at IBM where she produces the global On Demand
Business sites http://www.ibm.com/ondemand and has also been appointed the
Marketing Communications lead across the company on blogging. Take a look at
Sher's blog at http://shercorporateblogging.blogspot.com/

blogs to boost their business.
