JOB POST: Information Architect for Revolution in Washington, DC

Revolution Health's Creative Design team is looking to hire an Information Architect!

Postion: Information Architect
Location: Washington, DC (NW - DuPont Circle)

Revolution Health (www.revolutionhealth.com) is currently seeking a full-time Information Architect. You will be responsible for the experience, information flow, and information design. This includes creating user interface specifications, wireframes, sitemaps, flows, etc. you will be working with the director of IA as well as other lead members of the team to help design the portal.

Required Experience

3+ years experience as an Information Architect developing large web sites applications.
Demonstrated knowledge of overall web site design, including usability, industry standards, architecture and navigation
Demonstrated knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of all and emergin technologies (AJAX, DHTML, XML, CSS, etc.)
Demonstrated knowledge of User Interface prototyping tools and methodologies for browser and non-browser based experiences.
Must be able to show examples of past work, including schematics and other documentation.

Primary Duties

Gather requirements – through analysis of users, content, design, competitors, business needs and available technologies.
User task maps, competitor analysis, site audits, use cases, use case diagrams, briefs & specifications, sitemaps, wireframes, click-throughs, user flows, scenarios, etc.
Work collaboratively with other designers, developers and product managers.
