Hi Everyone, I am interested in knowing other people's
opinion on a design study at this URL:
http://www.wwauctions.com/bq/g4/study.html
I know a little about why the design is bad
Usability-wise, but am very interested to hear about
your comments, Interaction design-wise.
Thank you for your time.
BTW: The 3 images are 3 different screens.

Might I make a general request to everyone? When sending this list
things for evaluation, could you possibly include relevant context,
like business and user goals? One purpose of interactive products is to
facilitate humans in the pursuit of their goals. I can't begin to
evaluate the "goodness" of a product without knowing a little about its
purpose and the needs of those using it.
This prototype (?) appears to be just static images. I don't know how
it works, other than to assume the rows of navigation are just links.
So I guess request #2 is, if you want feedback on interaction, can you
show us a working prototype or live product? :)

Yes, sorry about this rather clumsy post.

Working on the initial code now and will have the site
live by end of this month.

OK, I'm lost -- what are you asking us to do?
Maybe I'm just having a blonde moment, but I can't tell whether these are 3
separate screens with no relationship or whether they are meant to be a
storyboard set showing an interaction through the site, or whether they are
3 different visual treatments but showing different pages. We can't provide
feedback on interaction if we can't tell what the interaction is. And I
don't know about anyone else, but I can't give feedback unless I know why
people would be at this site and what their goals would be. Perhaps that's
the main issue here...give us a scenario and we can give feedback on the
interaction.
But maybe it's just jetlag and I'll look at it tomorrow and will be crystal
clear ;)
