IM and Command-Line Interfaces

Mixing command-line simplicity with natural language sometimes makes
sense. I've thought a little about this after using SmarterChild

although SmarterChild has significantly reduced its functionality
lately, it seems to me, and has gotten much less useful (what do you
mean I can't "translate You Suck into French" anymore?). But you can
imagine a SmarterChild-like bot woven into an operating system.
