Hello - a quick reminder for the group that the deadline for entering the MEX User Experience Awards is coming up fast: Friday, 30th April 2010 at 23:00 London time.

Entry is free and open to all through a simple online form:

(You can also browse all the existing entries and vote for your favourites.)

If you're not already familiar, the MEX User Experience Awards is the premier international design contest for mobile and multi-platform user experience.  Hosted alongside the MEX User Experience Conference, it provides a platform for showcasing your ideas to the world, with previous events attracting TV coverage from the likes of Reuters and TelecomTV.

The challenge is to show how you've designed your product, service or concept to meet the needs of the target users.  There are categories for companies, freelancers and students, as well as the overall MEX User Experience Innovator of the Year Award.

The judging panel includes Juha Christensen (former Corporate Vice President of Mobile at Microsoft, President of Macromedia and now a VC with Progression Partners), David Marutiak (User Community Ambassador for Vodafone) and Tim Green (Editor of Mobile Entertainment Magazine).

The winners will be presented with the famous MEX glass trophies at a special evening reception in London on the 1st night of the MEX Conference, 19th May 2010.

Good luck!
