All,

I am trying to tie Coldfusion backend with jQuery front end. I am having a difficult time finding resources that are easily understandable. Does anyone know of simple and effective tutorials that tell you how to communicate with a database via Coldfusion and jQuery? Any input is valuable and if someone knows the answer to my question off hand, I am open to learning.

Thanks,

J

There are many blog posts out there that talk about the two. Take a look at the jQuery category on my own blog: http://www.coldfusionjedi.com. I'd also recommend the aggregator CFBloggers.org (disclaimer - my site too).

Let me also add - if you want to learn ColdFusion in general, you can download close to 5k pages worth of free docs from Adobe. There is also the ColdFusion Web Application Construction Kit, a 3 book series available via Amazon (disclaimer - I'm one of the authors).

Well, I have a few posts on my blog about using several jQuery components with ColdFusion. Feel free to look around :).Just click on the jQuery link in the tag cloud in the left sidebar.
