+1 to that, and I'll throw in:
1) Don't offer me "Go to the blaffer options page and ... " -- what?
If you want me to "go" somewhere, link to it, especially if
2) The "help" was written for Version 1, we're now on Version 5, and
"blaffer" has been renamed to "suxxors". And the options are all
different. And the current layout doesn't match the screenshot.
Which brings us back to: the best help is not needing help at all. The
existence of a separate "help" app is anti-agile, inherently doomed --
it'll never be updated in parallel with the app itself. New features will
always trump correcting "help". In any known universe.
Oh, and not so much help as anti-help:
3) Actionable error messages, or nothing.
"The memory location 0x234f00b00 was written ambiguously."
Awesome. It' not that I don't *want* to care, but, well... :-)
