We started to build this project (visSynth) just for fun, but we ended doing a Degree Thesis on it. It is a synthesizer which composes music according to the movements it tracks on a camera attached to a computer. It still needs loads of improvement (especially the sound), but there's hardly any time at all.
Hope you like the idea.
