NYC Entrepeneurs Want IxDA'ers for Aug. 5th Event!

I'd like to promote an event next Thursday night Aug 5, "Web Design For Startups", where I'll be a panelist along with Christopher Fahey of Behavior Design, Seth Giammanco of Minds On Design Lab,  and Dan Maccarone of Hard Candy Shell. The event is hosted by NYC-based entrepeneur meetup group UltraLightStartups.

Graham Lawlor, founder of ULS, described the Aug 5 event to me this way:

"As I mentioned, I am really hoping to make this event a 'matchup' style event where designers meet startups and startups meet designers.  I know so many ULS members are in dire need of design help.  I'm speculating that at least some members of IxDA would be interested in working with startups.  We'll be distributing colored dots that attendees stick on their name badge to identify startups and designers and to facilitate networking.  I know many startups are attending this event looking to meet and hire designers. "

Welll, that sounds good to me! ...and I think they serve pizza.
