I am a Board member of SF Suicide Prevention Agency and we need design help from individuals or an agency. Please contact me directly at kmillersf@hotmail.com or 415-377-7500. Thanks!

Details of services needed and on the agency below:
We're looking for a pro-bono ad agency that would be able to help us with developing and designing a campaign to raise awareness of the agency and services. This campaign would include a poster, pamphlet, small card, radio psa's, and public space advertising. We do have a small budget that we could use and plan on purchasing some media placements. We're focused on having a coordinated campaign that has a more "upbeat" message than previous campaigns. Something along the lines of our youth campaign that has the slogan, "Helping Ourselves, Helping Others." We also launched a new website www.sfsuicide.org that you could look at if you haven't already seen it.

After we launch the larger agency campaign we have some funding to develop materials that focus on more specific audiences like the LGBT community. It would be great if these smaller efforts tied in with our larger design.

We are wondering if you know of any ad agencies or organizations that might be interested in working with us on this.

About SF Suicide Prevention:
San Francisco Suicide Prevention is the oldest community-based telephone crisis center in the United States.  Founded in 1962 by a journalist from the British Broadcasting Corporation, the organization helps thousands of people through personal crises each year and provides a 24-hour, anonymous resource for anyone who wants to talk about inner pain over the phone (415/ 781-1500).  The agency also has telephone counseling in Spanish (415/ 989-5212), a line for people with addictions (415/ 362-3400), a line for people with AIDS/HIV issues (415/ 434-AIDS), and training for young people and professionals in how to identify the risk factors that lead to suicide. Not sure if you have had a response to this. If not I would recommend you contact universities with graphic design courses. You might come accross some individuals who would do this on a  pro-bono basis wanting to build up a portfolio of professional work. Just an idea.
