Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has been on any training courses run by HFI (Human Factors International) and whether they were any good? I'm particularly interested in the upcoming 'Design for the Big' course. However, with limited training budget and time, I need to be pretty sure of the quality before making the commitment.

Have you been on an HFI training course? If so, which one? Anyone been on the 'Design for the Big' course? Was it any good?

Any insights greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

In July I took the "Fasttrack" for the CUA 2 week course. The information was well organized and I was very happy with the instructors. Since becoming certified, the job market has completely changed. I am getting interviews that I never got in the past. Its the best thing I ever did. At some point I definately want to attend "Design for the Big" and P.E.T. For the CUA I had four instructors that are all working professionals with lots of experience. That made all the difference for me because our conversations were based on real experiences with current clients.
