Usability studies on touch phone use by people with limited hand function?

Hello beautiful community,

A friend recently ask me if I knew of any usability studies done on touch phone use by people with disabilities?  He's researching best practices to help people with limited hand function interact with an iPhone/iPad. Any of you know of articles or literature I can share with him? Thanks in advance!
