I’ve started a list of essays and articles that I feel are important touchstones and reference points for interaction designers. Over 50 in all, arranged chronologically:

Please feel free to suggest others.

Happy reading!

I added all the HTML available articles into an RSS feed accessible folder here. Wish Instaper allowed PDFs to be added & that there was a better publishing mechanism. Whe I get home I'll create a single PDF of all files (on iPad now) & publish somewhere as a edu reader (w/ Dan's permission):

Thanks for sharing the link.

Btw, what do you people think of the 'link' colors at (some reddish brown with dark grey background).

My eyes dislike it. Maybe if Dan can give a thought about it, I think it'll be better to change the color. (just an opinion)

One of my all-time favorites is:

Kevin Mullet and Darrell Sano, Designing Visual Interfaces

Yes, the red links on the gray background are causing a chromosteropsis effect.  Makes your eyes wiggle.

I would recommend Saul Greenberg's and Bill Buxton's article "Usabilty Evaluation Considered Harmful (Some of the Time)" available at (2008)
