(With apologies for any duplication.)

I will be giving a talk tomorrow evening for the Hamburg chapter of the Interaction Design Association on 'The Psychology of Nerdiness and Its Impact on User-Centred Design' (similar to the one I gave at the UPA in London earlier this year). Details of the talk can be found at

The talk will be followed in Hamburg on Friday by our full-day course, Agile User Experience and UCD which will be repeated a little over a week later in London (on 15 Nov).

December will see the debut of a workshop that follows on from the Agile course (although it is not a pre-requisite), where participants will be able to spend more time developing personas and interaction designs. The workshop is called Persona-Driven Design and is on 6 Dec in London.

Also, two of our courses will be available at the CHI 2011 conference in Vancouver next May (see for details when they become available, probably early in the New Year).

The full line-up is:

HAMBURG: The Psychological Basis of Nerdiness and Its Impact on UCD (7:00 pm 04-Nov-10, FREE) Agile User Experience & UCD (05-Nov-10)

LONDON: Agile User Experience & UCD (15-Nov-10) Persona-Driven Design (06-Dec-10) User-Centred Information Architecture (17-Jan-11) Dynamic User Experience: Ajax Design & Usability (07-Feb-11) Agile User Experience & UCD (14-Mar-11)

CHI 2011 - VANCOUVER: Agile User Experience & UCD (full day) Card Sorting for Navigation Design (half day)

See for full details and to book the London or Hamburg courses. (The Vancouver courses will need to be booked through once the conference site opens for registration.)
