Are you currently doing user research at your company or organization? Maybe you understand the value of user research for your work but just aren’t sure where to begin? When approaching user research there are many important factors to consider in order to get the most out of your data, and to help you make the right decisions for your products or services. Join us on Thursday, November 18 at REO Art Alley in Downtown Lansing with our special guests, Josie Scott and Casey Wright, and learn about real-world user research from the trenches.

When: Thursday, November 18, 2010, Doors Open at 5:30pm

Where: REO Art Alley (1133 South Washington Ave., Lansing, MI 48910)

Special Guests: Josie Scott and Casey Wright, User Researchers at TechSmith Corporation

Josie Scott and Casey Wright, a duo of fearsome researchers, field user experience studies at TechSmith Corporation, the Okemos software company that makes Camtasia and Snagit.  The duo provides usability testing and user experience research for a suite of premier visual communication tools that rule the seven seas.  Their stalwart captain, Barb Hernandez, helped them with this presentation.

6:30pm – 7:30pm Presentation: Choose Your Adventure: UX Research IRL

7:30pm – 8:00pm Q&A and Wrap-Up

Admission to this event is free and, as always, you don’t need to be an IxDA member to attend. Just come out, have fun and get involved. Thank you, and we’ll see you on November 18 at REO Art Alley!
