Career advice for a recent graduate

I'm looking for some career advice - I'm in need of mentoring!

I'm not sure what type of role I should go for to start my career.

I recently graduated with a BSc IT (Multimedia Design). While studying I freelanced creating websites. I also developed an extensive internal web application from the ground up (using php/mysql) for a small company. This involved a lot of analysis and design work with the Director.

I started out in Fine Arts - I found myself stuying IT because I enjoy problem solving. I'm inspired by Interaction Design and HCI - any place where, art, people and technology meet. I also love communicating and working with people.

I'm just not sure where to go from here? Searching the job advertisments, I'm not sure what type of role I should be applying for? Also what type of company? What are the advantages/disadvantages of working with small-medium and large companies?

I'm also considering a Masters of Interaction Design, further down the track.

Any tips and advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you
