Hi there,
Would anyone like to start contributing ideas for books that we might perhaps meet up and discuss in late March/early April?
I'll kick off with suggesting Gamestorming by Dave Gray. (Yep, aware that it's doing the rounds in a few UX Bookclubs :) )
Celine.

Hey Celine,
I'm happy to go with Gamestorming. I haven't read it and it sounds interesting.

I have just ordered Khoi Vhin's "Ordering disorder Grid Principles of web design" would that help?
I suggest "Where good ideas come from" of Steven Johnson (for the next meeting?). I didn't read Gamestorming so I'll be happy to have a talk about that book.

Hi Celine,
Gamestorming really does look interesting and worth a read. My suggestion would bet Undercover UX by Cennydd Bowles and James Box but I'm happy to kick-off with Gamestorming.

Hi folks,
Now that we have a list going how about kicking off with Gamestorming in April and moving onto another from that list 6-8wks after that?
I'll organise a date and venue for April in the next few days.
Celine
Perfect. Gamestorming in April.
Nice one Celine.
Thanks Celine, that sounds great.
April 12th folks, just waiting on word from the venue before confirming location and time.
Hi all,
Confirming time and location for the bookclub meet up...
Tuesday April 12th @ 6.30pm
Upstairs in The Bleeding Horse
Book: Gamestorming by Dave Gray
Looking forward to it!
Celine.
Hey guys,
Sorry to say I'll miss this one - as I'll be in Las Vegas :(
Hope it goes well, it's a good book
Regards,
Des
Des, you're smiling on the inside, right? ;)
UX London conflict - It occurred to me over the weekend that UX London starts on Wed 13 April. So if anyone has an interest in the date moving back a week to Tue 19th, just shout. Venue wise this isn't a problem at all. Otherwise we'll stick with Tue 12th.
Cheers,
Celine.
I just got my copy at lunch time today. Looked like the last one in Hodges Figgis - so phone ahead if you're planning to buy it there in the next few days.
On the date - 12 April is good for me, but if 19 is bette for others, fine.

Either day is fine for me.
Either day is fine for me also.
I Started reading 'Gamestorming' at the weekend and am really enjoying it so far :)
So - are we all set for the Bleeding Horse @ 6.30 this evening?
Yep indeed, Fiachra. Ready to open, explore and close :)
Excellent - looking forward to it...
