I am trying to pull together a list of ux academic journals and magazines that not only introduce ux methodologies (both research and design) but also best practices. Off the top of my head, I can think of Interactions and UX Magazine. Anything else that is worth reading? I am interested in both theories and case studies.
I'll be more than happy to share the results with everyone!

I like the International Journal of Design and I know there is the Journal of Information Architecture too.
The magazine, Innovation, from IDSA is also good for inspirational stuff from time to time.
On the more general, non-academic front I live off of Core77 and JohnnyHolland.org

A lot of UX methods came from psychology and there's a whole fund of research methods that can be adapted (and often have been under new names).
