Hi all,
I'm a web developer (occasionally web designer) with humanistic background (MA in Litterature, post MA in public communication) and I'm trying to switch from my job to something else: I love Architecture Information and user experience, so I'd like to attend a summer school or something like an "intensive course", if exists, and I'm looking for advices...I don't really know which course could be the best option, even which matters should I study (I.E., there's a summer intensive in Interaction Design at School of Visual Arts, NY, but I dont't know if Interaction Design could match with my qualification...)
Thanks in advance,
Claudia

You would do really well at that summer intensive program. I would do that if you have means to do so.

There is a 2 week human factors shortcourse at U of Michigan (http://cpd.engin.umich.edu/proedinfo.htm?itemid=152&id=57). A coworker attended and recommended it highly.

If you have the means to visit Seattle for a week, there is a week long intensive IA course (INFX 598) taught by Samantha Starmer (REI) at the University of Washington Information School.
Last year's site for the class: http://courses.washington.edu/infx598/su10/index.shtml. I'm relatively sure you can join as a non-matriculated graduate student. Others have done so in the regular academic year.
I'll be there.
