(apologies for duplicate postings)

I'm thrilled to announce I just signed with Rosenfeld Media to write a new book:
"Why We Fail: Real Stories and Practical Lessons from Experience Design Failures."

Just as pilots and doctors improve by studying morbid-but-fascinating crash reports and postmortems, UX designers can improve by learning how products failed in the marketplace when the determining factor was experience design. As opposed to books that proselytize a particular approach to design, the case studies in Why We Fail will illustrate what teams actually built, how the products failed, and how we can learn from that experience.

The book is due out in 2012. You can keep up with the book's progress by:
...visiting its site:  http://rosenfeldmedia.com/books/user-experience-failures/
...or following me on Twitter (@threefour) and @rosenfeldmedia
...or subscribing to the book's RSS feed: http://feeds.rosenfeldmedia.com/user-experience-failures/
...or being notified (and get a discount) when it goes on sale: http://bit.ly/rtuP5K
...or keep up with all Rosenfeld Media news by subscribing to the newsletter: http://bit.ly/o4LJrG

Best,

Victor
