Some of you may remember my post from a couple months ago, wailing and gnashing my teeth about frustration working for a large corporation and the level of bureacracy that is needed to make things.
I've had a change in attitude, and instead of defining things as "problems", like zero collaboration, bureacracy, etc. I've slowed down and started to look at things as "projects" and then defining them into potential solutions.
It's REALLY helped immensely in terms of my overall happiness. I know realize that while I do want to work in a place that values UX, innovation and collaboration but I have found that once I stop trying to swim upstream, things have tended to work themselves out.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still looking for that, it's just that I'm seeing things differently. Just wanted to share that with any of you that may be struggling with the same mindset.
