Hi folks,

We are working on the navigation and information architecture for a "one stop shop" portal-like site for students at UC Berkeley which will also include our learning management system. It is often difficult to get access to view portal sites since they require logon, but I'm wondering if anyone knows of publicly accessible portal or portal-like sites that we could review for inspiration. (W'e've already looked at sites like My Yahoo!, iGoogle, usa.gov.) Alternatively, it would be great if you could point me to any examples of complex navigation (either live sites or design pattern/design inspiration sites) that might be applicable.

Better yet, if you are able to give me screenshots of or access to your portal, that would be great. :) I will create a wiki page for any of them that can be shared publicly.

Thanks!
Allison

Just an update for folks in that I've posted some portal navigation examples here: https://confluence.media.berkeley.edu/confluence/display/MYB/Portal+Comparative+Analysis
