Sitemapping a detailed Resource Library & Blog

How do you display these sections that are based on filters  on a deatiled sitemap?

  1. Resource Library  ex. http://aidsspace.org/library.php. 
  2. Blogs  (Archives, Categories, Authors)

For #2: With a single template placeholder page. Because each of those pages will be based on their own single template. So it might look like:

  • Home
  • - Category results template
  • - Archives results template
  • - Author results template

For #1: Per your example, it's really only one page if you think about it. The only thing that's changing is the data. So that, to me, could be a single page in the sitemap with a reference to some sort of external spec document that outlines the tags and/or taxonomies.
