Hey everyone,
It's been around 3 months that I have been designing infographic. My experience says that infographics help more in getting the content consumed and get more eyeballs. A few days back, I posted an infographic about Analytics optimization on our company blog, and i got 60 retweets in no time. I also got a retweet from Brian Clifton (a well known Analytics Guru). It's a first time that I've got such a response for any of my content.
Have anyone of you worked on an infographic and saw a similar response? eager to know.
Thanks,
Kamaksh

Kamaksh:
Infographics for the news business are very popular. It's certainly a skill that you can monetize with news organizations, whether local, regional, national or global. I would certainly pursue that angle if you were interested in this type of work. Of course, infographics that are interactives are even better, so I would brush up on my Flash and HTML5 programming skills and convert your graphics into interactive experiences.
At the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Journalism and Mass Communication, infographics are but are of the visual communications curriculum. There is a company in Seattle--I forget the name--but, all they do is infographics for MSNBC and other news organizations.

Hi everyone,
I'm wondering who you all consider the most innovative infographics designer working in America today, who you would love to hear talk about his/her creative philosophy and process.
Thanks, Lee
