Smith Brothers Agency is looking for a freelance User Experience Designer for a 6-8 week contracted full-time project beginning on January 3rd, 2012.

Position: User Experience Designer – Freelance Project

Reports to: Director of User Experience

Responsibilities:

  • Create and present user experience solutions to internal teams and clients through sitemaps, wireframes, flowcharts and functional specifications
  • Quickly understand client strategy in order to develop content and functionality that meets both client objectives and user goals
  • Collaborate closely with project team including copywriters, visual designers, producers, and programmers to design the user interaction model, information architecture, and user interfaces

 

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Depth of experience developing wireframes, user-flows, and functional specifications for websites, web-based applications, and multi-page forms
  • Familiarity with Facebook promotions
  • Experience with Opengraph and other social media APIs a big plus
  • Availability to work fulltime for 6 – 8 weeks beginning on January 3rd
  • Highly organized – detail-oriented Ability to work cohesively in a team setting
