Agreed! We need to do something soon. I'm the new co-chair of the local chapter here in Denver with Mike Finch. We'd love to get your ideas if you've got any, but in the meantime we're working on a plan for the year. Feel free to send me your thoughts.
Vicente et al - nice to see the group getting active! I just moved to the Boulder area, and am looking forward to meeting our local UX folks. I'd love to see us get a workshop / speaker / studio series going.
Some ideas... useful & fun workshops (e.g. Interactive Prototyping, Ethnography, Sketching), conference summaries (IxDA, UPA, etc), best practices for X (usability testing, design communicatio, etc.), and happy hours. :D
