Announcing: AgileUX NYC 2012, a one-day, single track conference in New York City.

Date: Saturday, February 25th

This conference is all about how to create great design experiences in an Agile development environment. Jeff Gothelf and I busted our ass to deliver the highest quality lineup of thinkers in the AgileUX space in downtown Manhattan for under $100.

That's right, kittens, 12 talks ranging from organization dynamics to design studio, packed into one day, for under $100. That's less than a steak dinner. For comparison, the average conference for anything UX related in NYC, put on by douchebags that don't know anything about our community, is about $800/day. We think that's horseshit. Not even a cuddle afterwards - trust me - I've been there, done that. We see delivering a high quality conference really inexpensively as a design challenge!

This conference is for stakeholders, product managers and user experience designers passionate about creating products that seduce and satisfy customers, whether you work for a lean startup or a large organization. At AgileUXNYC, you’ll learn from the thought leaders in the AgileUX community about the entire lifecycle of software development. We thought the best way to organize this was to cover the entire lifecycle of product innovation and delivery.

Topics include:

  • Organization and cultural change
  • Team building
  • Process design
  • Customer research
  • Design studios
  • Transparent design
  • Pattern Libraries & Style Guides
  • Mid-stream rapid cadence usability testing
  • Getting a seat at the table

Attendees will walk away with a strong understanding of the complete lifecycle software design lifecycle incorporating great ideas and practical tactics they can deploy immediately.

So, assuming you're not too hungover from IxDA12, and happen to be in Manhattan at the end of February, join us for what promises to be a fun day. We look forward to seeing you.
