I'm working on an Android app. We have some flat mocks but I want to get them onto some Android devices to see how they feel and test out flows, labels and copy with people.

In the past on iphone I've used Prototypes by Duncan Wilcox. It worked pretty well for us. I could upload pngs then add hotspots and basic tranisitions. Once I was happy I uploaded the prototype to Prototypes server, got a key and entered that into the app on my iphone. Hey presto a tappable prototype on my iphone.

I'm looking for something similair on Android but failing miserably. Anyone know of such a tool or have other ideas of how I can take flat png/jpeg files and get them into a working prototype?

Hi Jo

Sounds like something Axure should be able to help you with.

It is the industry standard and works well for mobile prototyping as well (check their latest beta 6.5 with a lot of new mobile updates). You should be able to do what you describe.

Hi Jo,

There's a beta tool that might solve your problem. I've used it for quick iPhone prototypes, it does cater to Android too.

Great thanks Ciaran. I found this earlier and it looks like it might fit the bill.
