I'm very excited to announce the opening for entries to the 2013 Interaction Awards. This is the second year in which the Awards have been staged, following on from a highly successful inaugural year which saw over 300 entries from 30+ countries.
The Interaction Awards form one of the cornerstone platforms for the IxDA, providing the community with concrete examples of great interaction design, and celebrating the skill and creativity of interaction designers from around the world. Together with the Interaction conference, which will be held in late January in Toronto, Canada - the 6th time the conference has been staged; the 120+ local groups which act as a localised focus for community activities; and community-based discussions taking place online; the Interaction Awards lie at the heart of how the Interaction Design Association attempts to meet our mission.
I encourage you to submit your work, and to look at the work of others. And I look forward to seeing the entries during the judging in November, and at the Awards ceremony in Toronto in January!
