Redux Live: IxD13
For the first time in the Interaction conference history, we will host a IxD13 Redux in Toronto. The Redux Live: IxD13 will be held on Thursday, January 31 to closeout the conference by capturing the big ideas, trends and predictions from IxD13 so that we can reflect on them while we are still together as a community in Toronto. We have invited external media, "fresh eyes", from outside our immediate design community who have interests in Design, Technology and Art.
Introducing the IxD13 Redux panelists: Jeroen van Geel is a good friend of the IxD conference community and has previously covered 3 conferences as founder and editor of Johnny Holland. Jeroen is interaction director at Fabrique [brands, design & interaction] and is a respected international speaker and writer on the field of interaction design with a great interest in the world of product personality. He has pushed forward many design projects, ranging from the next generation mobile apps for Dutch public transport to interactive projects for Rijksmuseum Ameserdam and the ground breaking new automated border control systems at Schiphol. His goal is to return a bit of wonder into the world, even if it is just for himself.
Cliff Kuang is an editor at Fast Company and the founding editor of its spin-off, Co.Design, which in 2011 won the National Magazine Award for best online department. Recently, his work was collected in The Best Business Writing of 2012. Prior to Fast Company, he has been an editor at I.D. magazine and The Economist online. His work has also appeared regularly in WIRED, Popular Science and GOOD.
Harrison Weber is the East Coast & Design Editor at TNW in NYC as well as a designer and marketing strategist with a wild passion for startups. He loves everything related to tech startups, beautiful design and code as art.
