Hi,

We are back with yet another IxDA Dublin Bookclub. If you have a book that you really would like to read or think is worth reading and you would like to share your thoughts and opinions on it, please post it in this thread. We can then meet up and discuss it in late March/ mid April.

To kick off, the first proposal is: Storytelling for User Experience - CRAFTING STORIES FOR BETTER DESIGN by Whitney Quesenbery & Kevin Brooks.

Thanks,

Filip

Hi,

This is a great idea, Filip! Smile

The small, but really useful book that I would like to recommend is The Fable of the User-Centered Designer by David Travis. It actually made me realize that UX Design is what I want to do for the rest of my life. Wink

Cheers,

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for your suggestion. It's a nice book and it's free! It might inspire some people to get into UX.

Thanks,

Filip

Hi,

I don't have a suggestion, but think this is a really excellent idea! I'm going to look into both those books this weekend.

Thanks!

Cóilín.

Really looking forward to Book Club :) It's a great way to get together and share ideas.

One book I'd like to read this year is Stickdorn/Schneider's This Is Service Design Thinking: http://thisisservicedesignthinking.com/

As an aside, I'm intrigued to know what you guys think of the website.  I have some thoughts of my own which I will try to distill and share.

Donnacha.
