There may still be spaces available! This is going to be a once in a lifetime event!

UXPA of Los Angeles is proud to present:
The UX Professional:
Big Data, Enterprise Data Analysis& Visualization

http://www.meetup.com...

Organizations are collecting massive amounts of data, often times inadvertently. This data can provide valuable insight into customer’s feedback, uncover unmet needs, problematic issues and surprising use patterns that can provide a strategic edge to stand apart in today’s increasingly commoditized market place. This data is valuable but seldom are the resources allocated to do the data analysis needed to effectively integrate the information into the organization’s strategic plan.

As design and thought influencers and skilled collaborators, UX Professionals have a unique opportunity to collaborate with business analysts and business intelligence team members to imbue the data collection, synthesis, and analysis process with an empathetic understanding of the symbiotic needs of both customer and business organization. Using our skills in communication, information and interaction design, we can design interfaces that present the data in a manner which is easily digestible and actionable for critical stakeholders and provide the much needed insight into what our data is trying to tell us.

Topics will include:
Sentiment Analysis
Predictive Analysis
Dashboard and Report Design
Collaborative Roles between UX, BA and BI
Data Collection, Analysis and Visualization Tools
