On behalf of IxDA's Board of Directors, it is a great pleasure to announce that Ben Fullerton, Creative Director at Morse Project in San Francisco, has been selected as Chair of Interaction15, to be held in North America in February 2015.

Ben has a deep history with the Interaction conference, having been involved in the last four organizing  committees as the Technical Lead for Audio Visual. At Interaction13 in Toronto, he took on the additional role of curating and moderating two panels: Data Depth & Ingenuity with Jer Thorp (The Office for Creative Research), Todd Silverstein (Vizify) and Andrew Crow (GE), and Design Led Startups with Raphael Grignani (Jauntful), Todd Silverstein (Vizify) and Josh Seiden (Neo). He previously spoke at Interaction10 in Savannah.

Chairing the Interaction conference is a key leadership role within the IxDA community.  It has become an exceptionally competitive selection process, and once again we were impressed with the response and quality of applicants. Thank you to all who raised their hands for this important task.

Over the past four years I have been impressed by Ben's handling of key responsibilities of the Interaction conference, and thankful for his energy and passion for this community. I know he will do a stellar job with Interaction15 as Chair.

Ben will now work closely with the Board as we work through the selection of the host city for Interaction15. The venue will be announced following the Board's strategic planning retreat, which takes place from August 10-12 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Thank you, Ben. We are delighted to have you take up this responsibility and honored to have you in this role.

Regards,
Steve Baty
President, IxDA
